ABOUT US

Our project wants to be part of the 2020 EU priorities which aim at promoting social inclusion and European values through sports. We want to demonstrate that sport is a means of active social inclusion and, what we want, is to make everybody learn how important it is to enjoy life in spite of physical and mental barriers comparing experiences and playing together with people with disabilities practising various “adapted sports”.

We have decided to focus our project on the exchange of good practices concerning inclusion through sports, since inclusion is one of our priorities, but first of all, it is a very important aspect of our future life as students.

We want people to change their minds and to be aware that they are the ones who can change habits and attitudes towards the world of disabilities. Life is important and we should not waste it and we want to convince other people of the necessity of "changing their lives, opening their minds, united in diversity" as the Erasmus+ mottos say.

-Francis of Assisi

–Christopher Reeve

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

–Theodore Roosevelt

–Walt Whitman

“Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.”

“….What I learned was that these athletes were not disabled, they were superabled. The Olympics is where heroes are made. The Paralympics is where heroes come.”

- Joey Reiman

–Kevyn Aucoin

“Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices – today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.”
